Slim, flexible non-leather protective case for the Leica Q3 and Q3 43 cameras. Super slim and as unobtrusive as possible for those that generally don't like using a case but appreciate the benefits of the additional protection they provide.
There's no mounting screw underneath, so the camera sits flat on surfaces.
With the case securely attached to the strap lug, access to the battery and SD card takes seconds. The case can be 'popped' off the camera and is held to one side with the lug, allowing you to change battery without the case being caught by the wind or rolling down a hill.
Available in grip and no-grip versions. The grip version adds some great stability, especially when paired with a thumb grip. The no-grip version keeps the profile extremely minimal, offering protection without the fuss.
Made from a special high-quality, rubber-like, flexible matte material that holds its shape, protects against impacts, and is UV and chemical resistant.

It's easy to snap on/off. It must be removed in order to reach the battery and the memory card slot. That is easy, but just another step.
I primarily purchased this to protect the camera body (Leica Q3). Use it when I'm doing onsite shoots, outside, with excited animals, or in crowded places.
Hi Robert, thanks for your review. We were considering making the cases with a battery cutout etc but decided as the cases take seconds to remove (we can see the access being super-convenient for some heavy users), it then leaves the underside unprotected - especially from water ingress when placing on a wet surface. We will experiment with a battery cutout to see how this works with our design though as it could work very well and the case base is thick enough to still protect the camera from a shallow amount of water on a surface.
Feels great, love the light design and extra protection for the camera. However i have normal large hands and i feel the grip is slightly too small/ not economic enough for my hands

This I must say is one of the most compact and lightweight minimal protection for the Q. With the build in grip which is so comfortable, this is really a good slim case for those who wants to just protect the camera for abit of extra protection from minor scratches and the base keeping it slim, compact and minimal enough. Nice Case.
I was looking for something to protect my Q3 while using it on a new project in caves, and this is the perfect solution. It's lightweight, simple, easy to attach and provides a nice sense of security with the added grip as well, while still maintaining the slim, minimal profile of the camera. The addition of the cutout to access the USB ports is also very welcome, and the aesthetic matches the Q3 perfectly. Great product, highly recommended.
