Designed for the M-mount versions of the lenses listed above. Should also fit other mount versions or any other lens with the same filter thread size.
Material
Made from ASA-CF (carbon-fibre reinforced ASA). Stiff, dimensionally stable, UV-resistant, and matte black. Holds threads cleanly and does not creep over time the way softer plastics can.
The lens and the front glass filter shown in the photos are for demonstration only and are not included.

The rings hide the silver nose of many lenses. Not only is it a much prettier look but also cuts down on reflections you might see of the lens while shooting in glass. A tiny bit of silver remains visible so I add a UV filter with a black ring and voila! everything is now black.
Fits well but why you would make a product to conceal a shiny silver ring at the front of the lens and use a plastic that is glittery and sparkles on the front section, and doesn't match the lens at all, is beyond me. It looks really awful. I could have coped with a matte finish all over the ring but this shiny section on the front rim is ugly. Update: I have remedied this with some acrylic matt paint on the offending part of the ring so upgrading the stars on my review as it was a relatively easy fix. My suggestion to remedy the issue at the manufacturing point remains the same.
Hi Grant, thanks for your feedback, I have checked the front of the rings and can see when angled towards the light the front section is a little more shiny. Unfortunately it's part of the manufacturing process but we will see if it's something we can address to improve the product for future.
Good fit and sits tight. Hides the shiny 'nose' on Voigtlanders, disliked by so many, including me. And it also protects the front one the lens a lot better than nothing. The best option if you want to go hood less!
I'm disappointed because the rings aren't very strong. The 39mm ring on my lens with a 39mm filter mount broke in two when I removed it. I still have the 43mm ring, but I threw the broken one away. They're still good friends when I need Akara Labs again. By the way: The lens coding template works perfectly.
