What is it?
A super-light, slim and flexible protective solution for classic Leica film bodies. This half case fits the M6, M7, MP, and M-A, offering protection for the baseplate and vulcanite without the bulk or weight of traditional leather half-cases.

Standard (Quick-Release) Mount:
Perfect for street and travel photography where speed matters. Our custom quick-release "bung" insert allows you to attach and detach the case in seconds. The camera sits perfectly flat on surfaces, and you have instant access to the battery and SD card when you need it. Best for photographers who prioritize convenience, speed and minimalism. -
Tripod Edition (Screw-In) Mount:
For maximum security and versatility. This version uses a traditional tripod screw attachment, making it compatible with many tripod plates, Peak Design capture system, and other mounting systems. Two screw sizes included:- 8mm screw: For direct mounting to the case. Clean, minimal, and secure.
- 10mm screw: For "sandwich mounting" with Peak Design plates or tripod mounts between the case and camera. Adds 2mm of clearance for thicker mounting plates.

Safety: For maximum safety, always use a tether (neck or wrist strap). Do not rely solely on the case to secure your camera.
- Safety: When using the 'tripod' version always make sure there is enough screw thread to securely mount the camera body, do not use if less than 4mm thread enters the camera tripod mount. Tighten fully and check regulary to ensure attachment remains firm.

These are truly ingenious skin cases for our precious Leica cameras. they are so slim and barely noticeable. much better than a leather case which is chunky and adds heft and bulk to the camera. With this, the original form factor remains as it should. The only thing is it needs to be slipped off when changing film which I do not find a hassle. However, if you are shooting an event and speed is paramount, then you might wish to think twice. Otherwise, for a casual shooter, it is great protection for your Leica. I do wish they would make one for the M7 though. I have 3 and all need protection.

I really loved it and the only thing I can say if I’m really picky is the fact that because I have thicker strap I had to wrap my hand a bit around it to fully grip the extra grip in the case

Great product. It fits the camera like a glove and all controls remain easily accessible.
Honestly when I saw these on the internet I thought... Mmmm... not sure. However, when I got them it was an immediate wow. They are slim and they are flexible and the black is really the shizzle for me as it retains stealth mode on my M-A. Grip or no grip that's the question. The answer is both are amazing. I do like the no grip version maybe a teeny bit more than the grip version, maybe that is because it retains the M aesthetic of really clean lines. Will the case make a difference... yes, absolutely. I work in unforgiving environments and I hate putting my camera down knowing I could be damaging it... so I can rest assured that I won't have a sticky baseplate from Costa again (there are other brands of café available!). Nice product guys!
